Auburn University vet professor murdered while walking in Kiesal Park

This is extraordinarily tragic. The park is a common spot for residents to walk. It apparently is a random attack. I believe a suspect has been arrested but no word on who it is yet.

This link says Auburn police confirm suspect is in custody. The guy actually stole her truck after he killed her. She was there alone walking her dog.

My wife and I are around this age, and she will refuse to walk in a park alone for fears of shite like this. Most of the time I rol my eyes at her when she is super paranoid around parks, but in reality, she is right.
