he'll get til the end of this season... for some reason, it felt like this was his swan song at OSU, this season, anyway... they just really don't have a lot of talent, and then lost their starting QB last week on top of it...

fwiw, he looks disinterested and disengaged anyway

Seeing him today, it should be "I'm an old man, and I'm ready to retire from this shite"

I wonder if he is just burned out. I could see him and Oklahoma St agreeing to 'mutually part ways' at the end of the season.

The thing I wonder, does he do the TV gig next season, find the next 'Saban coach rehab analyst' position, become a coordinator for a year or take a head coaching job at a lower power conference (hard to think of any power job 'lower' than Oklahoma State) or even a Group team. I wonder if he would just take a year completely off.

Crazy to think that he has had only 2 losing seasons at Oklahoma St. And he lost 3 games last year by a score.

Him and Kyle Whittingham are tied for 2nd longest tenured coaches at P4 schools. Kirk Ferentz is the longest.

T. Boone Pickens' money went primarily to Oklahoma State University (OSU) through his foundation and direct donations, with a total of over $1 billion for athletics and academics.

They should be killing it in the NIL era with all that oil money

Heard last night that they have spent little to no money on NIL and the athletics department is deep in the red.

There’s no money for football at OSU any longer. Gundy has been very open about not having any NIL resources and he was very open about it yesterday and this week playing Oregon, who pays its players quite a bit.

In a way it's good to hear an educational institution is spending donor money on something other than sports

He's an old man. He's well past 40. And the game of football has passed him by.

The starting QB broke his foot in the first half of the first game after leading the team to three straight scores. He's out for four more weeks.

OKST is off this week and then has Tulsa.

I want to see if Gundy can breathe life into this team. If they roll over completely, it's time for a change.

Gundy's strength was finding and developing overlooked players. The problem in the current era is retaining those players.

I’m not sure he coaches anywhere again after he’s done at Ok State. I don’t think he meshes well with the new CFB environment and I can see him just wanting to be done with it after a long and overall successful run at his Alma mater.

I could see him on TV and I think he’d be very good at it

I would consider firing him for this video alone. How fricking unprofessional, cringe, embarrassing are these guys representing your program this way.

He's the best coach in OSU history, but it's clear he just can't hang in the NIL era. He has to go at this point. Perhaps they allow him to save face and "resign" at the end of the season.
