‘Sex-For-Rent’ Arrangements On The Rise In Canada

Legal professionals are certain that these kinds of arrangements are illegal in Canada, particularly under the 2014 Protection of Communities and Exploited Persons Act. Under the Act, it is illegal to purchase sexual services and obtain financial benefits from them. Tenants are encouraged to report such approaches and are not required to comply with these requests.

~25% of Canada's population was born in another country. Having wide open borders has consequences, including skyrocketing housing costs due to the inability to build homes quickly enough to satisfy new arrivals. And the Indians that they are letting in are happy to squeeze 10+ adults into a 3BR home, so even if they're relatively poor, they can outbid you on purchases/rents.

I put out. I do not pay for rent/mortgage. 
Seriously though... shame on whoever doesn't "need" the rent money charging sex instead. Housework? Sure. Yard work? Sure... any kind of other work.
OTOH... if you crack down, there will be people unable to "afford" rent.
It's a f'd up situation, but I don't know a fair way to resolve/prevent it between two or more willing parties.
