Not sure where Baker got it from but historically speaking its a nice combination of Bayou Bengals and the Chinese Bandits.

I hear they tossed around the idea of the Chinese Bengals....HR nixed it as non-PC and marketing said it didn't have the right ring to it.

Well technically they copied all lsu bc we had the Chinese bandits. They just change it to Bayou bandits.
