Roger Waters being his usual self, this time about Ozzy

In a recent interview, former Pink Floyd leader Roger Waters has revealed that he was never a fan of heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne.
quote:
When discussing the influence that music has over people, Waters brought up Osbourne’s condition around the time of his death, saying to The Independent Ink, “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever that state that he was in his whole life. We’ll never know. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a frick.” Waters would go on to air his the “idiocy” that Osbourne showed when working on the reality show, The Osbournes.
quote:
The former Floyd frontman also had some choice words for Black Sabbath’s music as well, saying, “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. Have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.” However, the reference to biting heads off of animals comes from Osbourne’s solo career, where he infamously bit the head off of a dove during a business meeting and erroneously bit the head off of a bat, thinking that it was a Halloween toy.

Arrogance & Elitism is rampant among musicians & celebs like him. They truly think they are just better people than the unwashed masses of the majority of the general public. And I love Pink Floyd.

Waters is a cock by nearly every account I've read from those who know him. He cries about political oppression while owning mansions in the Hamptons and vacationing on exclusive Greecian isles. The guy is a prick.
Ozzy on the other hand, most people seemed to like. And I liked Floyd a lot, but the fricker needs to take Black Sabbath's name out of his whining whore mouth.

Well, that's something that Ozzy and I have in common.

I’m in the same company. As much as I like Pink Floyd, Roger has always been a miserable git.

At least Ozzy had recorded good relevant music since 1980. What’s this old twat been doing?
Oh, the Wall concerts. Yeah! That album sells less than 50 copies without Gilmour.
What a pretentious prick.

Ozzy stayed making good music right up until the very end. Roger hasn't made anything as a solo artist that I've purchased. He owns The Wall, though, and it really is a phenomenal live show. Saw it twice when he first toured it.

I was done with this a-hole when he was speaking of the amazing contributions he’d made to PF. “That’s my pig up there. That’s my wall.”

I didn't/don't like either one.

Even in death, Roger Waters can't say something nice about someone. God forbid he outlives David Gilmour...
Speaking of which, here he is playing with Spinal Tap. Not Ozzy or Sabbath, but still. Besides being immensely talented and a gentleman, David also has a sense of humor. Sorry, Rog...you lose again.

Roger Waters is approaching Ginger Baker level assholeness.

I have been a Floyd fan since the mid 70's. Roger has always been a little bitch and he always will be. I have always been team Gilmour and really like David. I dont agree with him on many things politically but he does not push his political views and knows how to be a good human being.
Roger has always catered to the miserable europeans who hate everything and everybody. It is his support system. He really is a miserable frick

Ozzy was always a man of people and never forgot where he came from or who made him successful. That is one of the big reasons he was so loved.

Yeah, this was a dick thing to say, but it's just a reminder (to me, at least) why Pink Floyd was so great. Their song lyrics contained some of the most unvarnished and critical commentary on modem society. He'll be this snarky until the day that he dies.
