Unless teams just bomb, Lsu will play 7 teams in the top 24.

I think we are 10-2 at the worst, which almost definitely will get us into the playoffs.

You will get DVd a ton on this.
I don’t think we go 9-3.. pretty sold on 10-2 or 11-1 at this point.

But you are maybe right.
Clemson’s win bought us some grace that maybe would let us hope over someone else on the bubble.

Does 10-2 get Texas in? Might not as they play only 5 ranked teams.

The only team I can realistically seeing beat us on our schedule is Ole Miss.

Our defense is too good.

Sellers, Simpson, Reed are all going to get eaten.

If they handle Florida without any stress, then this teams floor is 10-2.

Also probably depends on how close any losses are and to who
It's not wise to lose to teams like OU and Vandy like Bama did last year or UK and Fla like Ole Miss did last year

I think 2 losses and LSU is a lock
Three losses will be in hands of committee
Also, I wouldn't want to be playing in the SEC title game with 3 losses either, a loss at that point might eliminate you

It would also help for Clemson to win the ACC

Having a vintage Perkins makes running QBs way less daunting

I mean maybe? Clemson only got in with 3 losses because only 2 of them were conference losses so they still made the ACC CG and won it. Everyone else in the field had 2 or less. Bama, Ole Miss, and SCar from the SEC all had 3 losses and missed. SMU made it over them with 2 losses and a pretty weak resume as far as SOS and quality wins go.

If that's the precedent then I wouldn't make any assumptions about 9-3 being enough. LSU could get in at 9-3. It depends on what the rest of the field does. I think 10-2 is a lock but I'd want more to try to get one of the byes personally.

Don’t sleep on Oklahoma and John Mateer last week of the season.

Also, Arkansas at 11 AM is an uncomfortable spot always.

If we go 9-3 we don’t deserve it and won’t win it.

As Al Davis said, “Just win, baby.”

And UF is a question mark. They beat the tar out of LIU, but that game was like when LSU played Southern. The team was so bad that you couldn't really tell what LSU was.

I'm only worried about Bama because it's Bama and it's on the road. They're the only team on the remaining schedule that has the athletes to compete with us.

Ole Miss QB isn't ready. You need a QB.

Still a lot of football to be played, but I thought the path to (at least) 10-2 would be laid by the Clemson game. Win, and 10-2 was very much attainable. It would (most likely) require going 4-0 at home in SEC play v. Florida, Arkansas, South Carolina, A&M and 2-2 on the road against Vandy, Ole Miss, Alabama, Oklahoma. Both seem very doable. A loss to Clemson would have made 10-2 a much tougher task.

Obviously nothing will be easy, but I think we will have a good idea of where things stand by the end of September. At that point LSU will have played both Florida and Ole Miss. Wins in both of those make you feel good about the rest of the way. It means LSU will need just one more road win (most likely Vandy) and to hold serve at home.

10-2 with our schedule would get us in based on committee stressing SOR/SOS even more now.

9-3 we’d need some serious help. Like 2007 help

We should finish 10-2 at worst if we win the games we’re supposed to win though and not have to worry about that scenario
