The history books of the future will cover this period extensively and it will be debated and thoroughly analyzed possibly like no other time in history.

There will be, of course, the liberal scholars of the future that will try to justify why this period made sense. Liberal ‘scholars’ will always be an endemic virus to humanity. There is no getting rid of them.

But hopefully a majority of human beings will see this period as a complete aberration like the Tulip Bubble of 1634 to 1637.

If Charles Mackay could come back he would enthusiastically update his classic “Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds.”

I've thought the same. It launched with a media and entertainment purge otherwise known as the me-too movement and systematically went from there spreading to every aspect of society like a cancer, especially with Covid. This nightmare peaked in 2022.

Thank God the d'rats over extended with the immigration invasion

What is sad is we did little to stop it. Now that we have a nation back. Arrest all the rats that had prominent roles in this coup. At the very least I hope Trump keep on dismantling their funding and firing there traitorous asses out of gov and industry.

I hope some are brought to trial.

I wonder if it will be covered at all, as most of the blame rests on academia and the infiltration of higher education by insidious radicals. Who knows if they were spies, communists or just brainwashed, but that's where it started decades ago, until the next generation of media was carrying the complete slant, validating their garbage to complete the psyop. The duo of leftist professors and yellow journalism created an impressive meltdown.

You think this is over?

There has been irreconcilable division in this country. The left is so far left it is a direct contradiction to the founding principles that make America. Marxism and Communism are direct contradictions to the country we were born into and love. I don’t see those people, Democrats, as legitimate Americans.

Too much has been exposed. We are one more stolen election away from this all going off the tracks.

Trump has most certainly played a huge role in turning the tide.

None of us should be that confident. Trump is a four-year reprieve and reset we desperately needed, but the leftists and the globalists who direct them are still in the hunt.

The battle will never be over. Had Kamala prevailed in 2024, we would be seven months closer to becoming Europe.

I do think covid gave them an artificial bump, they lost all focus and immediately started acting like they had won, trying to imprison people they didnt like.
From 2008 onwards they slowly tried to take over the courts, occupy Wallstreet was a foreshadow of CHAZ.
They got hard into gerrymandering, they formed massive dark money groups.
They moved on so many different fronts:
Immigration
Gay Marriage
Trans movement
Policing and law
Women's special rights (to accuse a male at will)
DEI

Then George Floyd and Biden winning happened.
The federal government turned a blind eye to everything (Because Biden was a dementia patient and his advisors were lunatics).

It was the 1933 push they wanted, they knew they just needed to beat Trump again and they could remake the country, the Supreme Court was the last roadblock. Revamp the courts now!

2022 happens and Biden loses congress...
They kept pushing.

Trump not only won, he dominated.
If we look at the nation they wanted it looks like an even worse version of the UK.

We need to keep them from winning in 2028.
We need to turn back the damage done.

i'd say it had been going on since 2010 or so, but that was definitely the Fort Sumter/Rubicon.

While I don't think that 2012 Barrack Obama was "woke" in the sense that we'd use it now, but his election did give the left permission to start poking holes in the overton window.

I don't think we are anywhere near Fascist territory, but the excesses of the left for about 15 years have probably started making the right more accepting of going hard in the paint against it.

If you had asked me in January, "3nout, do you support Trump deporting ALL illegal aliens or even legal immigrants (sweet abuela that cleans my hotel room) and sending the national guard to large crime ridden cities?"

nah that's way too much.

Today, it doesn't even raise my eyebrow, nonetheless my ire.

I’d say everything falls in the shadow of the 2008 crash. But specifically the key notes are:

1. Occupy Wall Street going viral in the fall of 2011 (the protest was a fail on paper, but was the first instance of activism hijacking social media)

2. The shooting of Trayvon Martin (and Barack Obama’s response to it)

3. Obama’s 2012 run (going all in on social justice and painting Mittens as the white devil)

4. The Mike Brown incident (the algorithms are now fully pushing the racist police brutality angle that will stir up chaos and riots)

5. Gay marriage is legalized (slippery slope)

And maybe most importantly

6. GamerGate (the moment the culture war spread from online niche to mainstream way of life. The moment corporations and power apparatus’ took off the mask and revealed that there is an agenda to push and a side to take)

6. Caitlyn Jenner debacle, transgenderism is immediately pushed and thrusted on the populace.

All of these things happened within a quick span from fall of 2011 to spring of 2015. Trump deciding to run 3 months after the Caitlyn Jenner news story was the gasoline being poured on the fire.
