Finebaum...What a joke and homer.

It’s understandable that many analyst could conclude that the LSU vs Clemson game could be a close game with a win for the home team in a hostile environment. If attention was taken to the portal pickups a reasonable person might have projected what they saw Saturday night. Folks, that game was not that close even if the score was. I understand that is the statistic that truly counts and is recorded but a professional prognosticator worth his salt should have seen this. Finebaum went out on a limb and professed that LSU would be beat and that it wouldn’t be close. I know it’s laughable but really does show how little this man who has made much by kissing bamas arse for years knows about football.

Well in fairness to him. Kelly hadn't won an opener. LSU hasn't looked like LSU on defense in a minute. He did go overboard though with the "it won't be close".

Talking heads like Finebaum and Steven A Smith are paid to give hot controversial takes. This is done solely for views and to get people talking. I cannot understand how our fanbase hasn’t yet figured this out. Some of your moods are totally dependent on the opinions of douchebags. Why do this to yourselves?
Get out of the trap.

He only got that job b/c he’s one of the “chosen people” (eye roll)

I hope one day that the whole world realizes he is playing a character and the more egregious statements he makes the more attention he makes the more money he makes. Just ignore him

I'm not a Finebaum listener, but when has he claimed to be anything other than a "Word Merchant"?

And you'll keep listening and watching.

In response to the many complaints from listeners about his moronic callers, his standard reply is " I am on ESPN. The E stands for "entertainment". That's all he cares about. He's far from worried about his upcoming show, all the trash he's gonna get for his bama love. He's relishing those callers.

As someone who has worked in sports media, I think some fans really overestimate this. Some of these talking heads do enjoy throwing out a hot take, but that’s not what they’re paid to do. It’s like some of you assume they have a certain opinion and the producer says “no you don’t. Change it, even if you don’t believe it.” That doesn’t happen.

He said yesterday that apparently his sources inside Clemson were wrong

That dumbass Heather D is another POS. She was brutally dogging LSU last week. frick both of them.

We won the game. Team looks really good. Why are we so worked up about someone who predicted the wrong thing in week 1.
Maybe they'll all admit that they were wrong and LSU is one of the best 3 or 4 teams in the country. Would that make us happier?

F-bomb struck out:
-picked Clemson over LSU
-picked TX over Ohio State
-worshipped Arch's ballsack
-picked ND over Miami
Help me out here; did I miss anything?

Then your obvious bias shouldn’t be on a message board if you work in sports media.

A lot of sportscasters picked Clemson
They also were ranked No.4.
This morning Finebaum gave props to LSU. And Dan Orlosky. went so far as to say he thinks Nuss is the best quarterback in the nation…
