As complete as this team looks on offense and defense…

We even had a 53 yard field goal made by our kicker. And our punter was booming his punts. This team might just have it all.

We also had that same kicker shank one so poorly that he faked an injury. And those two punt touchbacks were bad.

I knew there would be one bozo. Remember he cramped right before that shank. Also the punter had a perfect punt on the one yard line woodland just botched the catch. And he also had a 50 plus yarder on his last punt.

Wasn’t the ball tipped as well?

Bro the guy has missed kicks before and never faked an injury why would he need to do that now?

This might just be true. We’ve all seen it.

Agree on the cramp...not on the "perfect punt". First, he doesn't punt the ball HIGH enough on the + side of the 50. Second, a perfect punt wouldn't land on the 1 yard line...with no margin of error. Third, I believe at least 1, maybe 2, landed in the endzone. Either the MTSU transfer needs to learn how to pooch punt or LSU needs to come up with a "short distance" punter. But to only NET 20 to 25 yards a punt when trying to pin the team deep is a huge liability. At least get it inside the 10...AND not in the endzone.

Just wait until Barion actually gets a kick to return

Punter need to settle down. Was happy for Ramos. He’s been solid.

He punted the ball high enough for Woodland to be waiting on it and catch it in the air, so yes that was a perfect punt! You must think these guys have a pitching wedge in their hands instead of punting a football.

Huh, he wasn't waiting on it. He was more towards the center of the field and ran towards the sidelines to try to catch it. It was NOT a perfect punt by any means. A perfect punt is where the guy kicks it high enough so that the player has his BACK to the endzone and catches it like a fair catch. Also, I said in fact the better punt is one that would hit say inside the 5 but not at the 1 or 2. That is giving some margin of error. Hell, how many times have I seen a guy catch the ball inside the 1 only to have his feet on the goal line. He needs to do a better job pooch punting or have someone else take over the short punting as many teams already do.

Yep both punts that went in the end zone should have been caught by our gunners. The first one they never found the ball. The second we dropped. Should have been 2 punts inside 5

Convenient timing for a cramp

We have some depth issues, but I don’t know how you avoid that with the transfer rules? Every team has the same problems and no player wants to be solid depth.

Credit to BK and him hiring a great staff. If left alone by the AD and ignorant fans we will compete with anyone.

If you don’t Ramos is any good just wait until you see Burrell try and kick for accuracy.

Again, you seem to think punters are hitting a golf ball 40 or 50 yards with a sand wedge in their hands instead of punting. The best punters in the world can’t do any better than he did. A punch punter doesn’t get any height on the ball and aims for the sidelines and prays the ball doesn’t bounce into the end zone.

Dude was literally limping off the field. What a dumb take
