Thankfully the Houston pitching staff managed a shutout to secure last night’s victory. The offense remains putrid.

Astros have a 3 game lead in the division and are 6 games up for the final wild card spot with 27 games to play.

Hendricks has given up 8 ER in 9 innings pitched against our boys this season and has an ERA over 5 this season.

Arrighetti has not pitched against the Angels this season. He completed 6 innings in his first start of the year, but has not gotten through 6 innings in any other game. He has struggled since returning from injury, although he was a bit better in his last start.

With the boys scuffling and college football taking the stage, the DAT will likely be a lonely and forlorn place, only visited by those wishing to commiserate with others wallowing in misery.

Good luck, spaghetti. Maybe try not walking 8 in 5 innings.

I am going to make a point to check in at some time during the game. I hope there will be no misery-wallowing for Astro or Tiger fans.

Great start indeed. Hope the bats are bopping.

Eta: They are not, in fact, bopping.

Neto just smoted one over the Crawford Boxes to take a 1-0 lead. That’s all she wrote as this offense ain’t scoring shite.

Tied it up. Then Cocksuck does Cocksuck things for the second at bat in a row.

Altuve with his patented GIDP. Didn’t hustle either as he knew it wouldn’t be a hit.

Nice play by Cocksuck on a ball that hit first base.

Like everyone else, I’m at a football party watching LSU. Looks like I’m not missing much. 1 run sounds about right against a bad team per usual.

And Peña follows suit.

I’m ready for both of them to go. Neither knows how to produce any offense.

Offense is trash. They basically need pitchers to produce gems each game now to win

any offense.

I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about.

Between LSU and Astros performance, there’s plenty to be offended about

ETA: good to see Abreu has been working with Hader on his “pitch like shite if it isn’t a save opportunity.”.

Brian Kelly and Joe Sloan make Joe Espada and Alex Cintron look brilliant.
