I would’ve picked McNealy over Cantlay. Patty is an entitled shite that’s not a team guy. Would’ve been good for the Ryder cup rookie.

I think we had this discussion on the Golf board. Keegan could have easily turned down the captaincy by saying he wanted to focus on playing in one more. Tiger turned down the captaincy before Keegan. Nobody would have blamed him for turning it down, and that is assuming the news would have gotten out.

We have. But also I think it's safe to say that Keegan Bradley is not Tiger Woods. Tiger could literally tell them at any time that he wants to be the captain and they'd name him the captain. He could tell them he'd like to be the captain every Ryder Cup for the next 20 years and they'd probably say yes. Keegan doesn't have that liberty. Also, they offered him in July of 2024, he wasn't a top 12 player then. So it was easier to accept because he was on the outside looking in then.
