Per Underhill - per SAUCE

Cut Foskey - One step forward

Cut CEH - Two steps back

Hopefully our other backs have improved their pass blocking

CEH is not making or breaking this team. Neal showing something probably pushed him out

In what way is cutting a vested veteran replacement level RB "two steps back"?

This board is nuts sometimes

If they have a another back that can pass block on 3rd and forever then I will stand corrected

I’m slightly disappointed. I thought he looked decent in the preseason.

He did look very decent for a washed #6 RB. That really isn't meant to be an insult btw.

Exactly what the Saints needed... keep a 26-year old RB6 that's started 9 games the last 3 seasons combined. That's going to destroy any rebuild potential.

He’s better than Miller imo

Is what it is though

ETA: we don’t have this many Miller fans lmao

You have to see what you have in Miller and Neal. CEH is serviceable, but will likely be a journeyman RB the remainder of his career. We all want CEH to be successful, but he'd be RB4 on this team.

He'd be #5 behind Taysom and that's excluding Velus who is a Special Teams expert. He's RB6.

He’s a replacement level player with very little burst.

We should cut Taysom and keep Clyde

Agreed. I was being generous.

There was really no room on the team for him with Kamara, Miller, Neal and Velus, and when Taysom returns.

We should have cut Foster M and kept Welch IMO. Taysom can atleast play 3 positions well.

Are the Saints in a rebuild and going to be a bad team this year? Yes or no.

This seems a bit much. I was hoping CEH would be on the team as a security blanket in passing downs. See key block on the long Shough TD. But it’s not like he was going to put us in the playoffs.

CEH would be a better keep than Jamal Williams was the last couple of years.
