i'm sure they're flooded the internet hours ago
isn't there 1 really good angle that clearly shows his right foot is on top o his other foot?
they're showing the replays on ESPN2 right now, but the informational bar at the bottom is covering up his feet

The second he caught the ball he had it secured and both feet were on the ground. There is no doubt about it.

As soon as the first replay was shown, I thought this as well. I never saw a good angle that proved it though.

I was more blown away that they didnt spend more time on the fumble on the second to last play of the game. It looked like his arm was going forward to me

it was
they didn't even review it
i can see goodell's goons on their mics just telling everyone, "do not replay. let this game end NOW."

It was definitely going forward, but the ball had already been knocked loose.
I don't know what the rule is exactly on that, but the ball was knocked loose, then he shoved it forward without any control.
Is that a fumble?

I can't supply you with everything on this board, slow.

that would have been an incomplete pass, wouldn't the tuck rule come into effect?

it could have gone both ways, but they should have at least reviewed it. I was blown away to see Pitt in victory formation. I could not believe that they didn't even look at it.

He would have to be tucking the ball for that rule to matter, right? He was bringing his arm back to pass, ball was knocked loose, then he just shoved it forward with his arm, not actually throwing it.
That's what I saw, at least.

Exactly why I said it could've gone both ways, but they should have at least looked at it.

I'll answer the question by saying this: If the game were on CBS (shot in HDTV on Sony cameras...) we would have a high resolution shot. But with NBC, ehhhh.
There was another angle from behind the QB that showed both feet down. This seemed to be a much clearer shot.

loose would imply it was in the air or on the ground, it wasn't. It was still in his hand and he pushed it forward, an almost carbon copy of the play they reviewed in the first half and ruled and incomplete pass
