- Believes in Depth (Direction of FA and team moving forward).
- First convo with Zion was is if he truly wanted to be here. (They were prepared to trade him immediately)
- All consequential interviews with team members were to measure their desire to be in New Orleans.
- Told Queen he may not have a hand but he still has legs and needs to be in shape come training camp.
- Team had week long player driven Training Camp.
- Jordan Poole made it clear to Dumars he wants to be here.
- Jerimiah Fears is impressing him, truly living up to his last name.

I love seeing all of this. Dumars is going to be a strict boss. I don't know if we have ever had that kind of leadership, much less with his kind of resume. Players respect that. If they don't, then they can go away..

I really appreciate the leadership he’s providing. The proper guidance can make all the difference in the world, seems the players have someone to follow now and keep them accountable.

Not only that, but he actually listens to the players too. I don’t think Griffin ever connected to the players but more towards the ownership. Dejounte also said something about how he was able to talk to Dumars weekly to tell him about his thoughts. That’s a good sign of leadership.

Very telling that he felt the need to “validate the players desire to be here”.

What should be a given, Dumars must know he’s dealing with a franchise and city of last resort and attempting to weed out toxics in the building.

It takes a seriously miserable person to make any of what was said be a negative. On a positive note, I’m happy to see you made bail recently, Gayle.

What are the odds both franchises are mired in the bottom of organizational and player talent? It’s almost astronomical to think both could be so inept.

The only logical conclusion is it’s a failed ownership who has consistently failed at business all her life. As you can’t go bankrupt in the NFL or NBA you have to accept things like winning seasons and playoffs aren’t in the cards anymore.

If we luck up and get some nice assets, eventually NOLA and its shite market wears down these assets (see Sean Payton, CP3, Anthony Davis, etc.) and they hit the eject button only to find glory elsewhere. It’s really sad.

The Saints game must have been really bad if we had a discussion with Dumars during the game.

When Tom Benson died, he had an estimated net worth of 3B.

As of right now, Gayle Benson net worth is 7B.

So she has more than doubled in about 7 years (he died in 2018). If she was so bad at business, wouldn't she have lost money?

The Pelicans have a way of making me love a team that just isn’t that good. I’d be a bad GM because I’m way more into guys that want to be here than guys who are superstars that don’t give a shite where they play.

I’m usually wait and see, but dumars ain’t it. We could have brought in guys that would change this franchise in revolutionary ways and chose not to. We chose Dumars.

I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t think I am. I really fricking hope I’m wrong.

I mean I get what you are saying but that's just all professional franchises.
Are you really saying that Gayle herself did some great work to make them worth that?
