It’s not just the words that are the problem. It’s the policies

Dems made up 90% of that list and no normal human actually uses them.

I’m fine for Dems to blacklist their own bullshite. They make a compelling case against their own contrived ideology.

Shouldn't "black listed" be one of the terms?

But this is a good start.

This might mean that an attempt to define the world and shame people through creative vocabulary is now recognized as an unsuccessful policy. If they are capable of recognizing that they have embraced an unsuccessful policy … where does that lead?

To win elections we are going to have to trick people into thinking we don’t believe all the crazy shite that we really believe!

Nowhere, the policies aren't the problem with these clowns. It's the messaging.

The Cringe Left won't like this at all, expect sky high levels of whining, wailing and b!tching while you're trying to place your order at drive throughs.

I would like to get rid of whoever made up emotional intelligence.

A woman just says that meaning they want someone who agrees with everything they say.

A DNC rally would just be people snapping their fingers and yelling about Trump without those phrases.

They could wrap things up in about 10 minutes and be home in time to give their cats an extra treat for the night.

If that’s true it’s a total abandonment of the last 20 years of framing by the left.

I'm surprised they're allowing it to be called a black list. "They" tried to get us to stop using it in IT talking about IP addresses, etc.

had to look up deadnaming

quote:

Deadnaming is the act of referring to a transgender or non-binary person by their birth name or a former name after they have chosen a new name. This practice is considered offensive as it misgenders the individual and can invalidate their gender identity.

The one I've never encountered was 'holding space.' I looked it up. Do we really need a new term for 'being nice'?

They want to remove the idiotic labels from their degenerate policies to appear less radical and more mainstream politically.
They do not intend to stop supporting and enacting their radical, degenerate policies.

I get all the responses, but I think you all are missing the real message. It's not "do not use these words nor phrases any longer," but rather "it's time to come up with new words and phrases to take the places of the old ones because they now have too negative a connotation."

They aren't suddenly dropping these products of their bizarre views, they are just changing the window dressing around them.
