There was a lot more acne than that in the 80’s

The 70s and 80s were a great time to grow up in. The world is so different now.

I rocked them tight rolled jeans…..

Bought Levi’s 501s extra long just to do so….

I was also wearing Duck Heads, Polo and BD Baggy shirts, with Top Siders, Bass penny loafers, white oxfords and blue and bone saddles. My frat level was through the roof…

The 90’s and early 2000’s were awesome, too. Pre social media was a great time to be alive. fricking Tom ruined everything.

It really was, society was going through some major changes for the good, when 1980 came in, things really ramped up. We had a good 30 year run till all the social justice shite came out… I made 16 in 1980, so my peak HS and college years were all in the 80’s, it was a time to be alive.

I finally feel like those days are coming back social wise.

Bringing back those hairstyles could offset global warming...

Cutting brown paper grocery bags and folding them just right for text book covers. Then they could be topped with STP stickers, Wacky Package stickers, Thrush, etc.any way to customize just for you.

“No man ever steps in the same river twice, for it’s not the same river and he’s not the same man.” -Heraclitus

Jokes about how to go back aside, it wouldn't be the same if you could. The experience would be different... would possibly be like the feeling of trying to chase your first high (or other epic moments) where the second time never matches the mental buildup of the first.

I was lucky. I got the full benefit of the 80s. I was born in 71. Graduated HS in 89. I got to experience being a kid in the early 80s and being able to get into bars in the late 80s. What a time!

It might not be the same, but I would sure appreciate a week a or two back in the 80’s like it was a trip to Disney. We took it for granted then.
