Steak ‘n Shake is owned by Buglari Holdings, which is also the third largest investor in CB with Blackrock and Vanguard being the first and second largest

I think they've been struggling since before all this woke shite started. It's their company, if they wanna go woke let them. They'll just open under another name in places where they have a customer base

How many gay people are there in the US?
What percentage of them eat at Cracker Barrel?
Of the total gay people that eat at Cracker Barrel, what percentage do they represent as total Cracker Barrel customers?
Finally, how many customers did you lose to cater to a small niche market to begin with?

It’s just like the news media and Disney. It’s not about making money. It’s about the agenda first and foremost.

Only incidentally gay people eat at Cracker Barrel, culturally gay people wouldn't be caught dead there.

There are probably more prison gay people at the gold standard, Waffle House, then there are gay people at Cracker Barrel. Any estimates on which crowd carries more guns? I assume more of the people at CB are licensed (not that we should have to be.)

I haven't been back home in a while and I thought it was just the logo ,but dam they changed the look inside too and the menu? What kind of bullshite is that? Why would you change something that works? Sure you can do tweaks here and there ,but to overhaul something that works is stupid. This whole bullshite idea that they have to appeal to a younger demo is also dumb. You can market to young people without completely gutting your brand.

This is how the food wars they talk about in Demolition Man start.
At least we know Taco Bell wins.

The decline in quality at Cracker Barrel really hit the steep section of the hill when they began alcohol sales.
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against the sale and consumption of alcohol with a meal, but that was never part of the formula for Cracker Barrel's success. I mean - no matter how you slice it, Miller Lite or a Mimosa just simply doesn't go with Uncle Herschel's Favorite Breakfast. It had always fostered a down-home family feeling until about two years ago when these odd changes began coming out of their HQ.
The logo change is only one more thing that their corporate leadership has done recently to sink the ship. They've been looking to jump off the cliff like lemmings for awhile with some of their decisions in the past couple of years.

I fell out with Cracker Barrell when they stopped serving the slow cooked roast beef dinner. Obviously she never learned the phrase ....."if it ain't broke, don't fix it ."

It’s actually amazing that culture changes in companies never seem to work unless it’s woke culture taking it over and then when they do change it, they end up destroying the company

The thing is they took on investors to grow the company and it grew. Now you’re telling them investors keep their ideas to themselves while we handle the money
