Lake Charles man arrested for attempted kidnapping of 15-year-old

Around 6:30 a.m., Lake Charles Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of Glenn and Hazel streets for an attempted kidnapping, according to Public Information Officer Brenda Treadway.
The victim told investigators that a white male driving a black SUV stopped and asked her if she needed a ride, Treadway said. When the victim said no, the suspect drove away.
After driving back by multiple times, the victim told investigators the suspect stopped and exited his vehicle before placing his arm around her, saying that he wanted to drive her.
Treadway says the victim was able to escape after striking the suspect in the face, who fled the scene.
Video evidence from the scene helped to identify Frederick’s vehicle, Treadway said. LCPD swat team arrested Frederick during a traffic stop at Ernest and West College streets.
Frederick’s bond is set at $1 million.

Word is this dude allegedly has a substance abuse problem, and his wife kicked him out not long ago, even though they just had a baby earlier this year. He was also fired not long ago from Gordon Ramsey Steakhouse at the Horseshoe for drinking on the job. Guess today he decided to complete the spiral so his child can grow up without a father.

I can never figure out how this bond shite works. His bond is 1 mil and rightfully so. I feel like people murder people and have a less bond.
Hell didn’t that evil bitch that beat that kid at daycare only get a 44k bond?
44k to 1 mil is a very large gap. I’m thinking the 44k should have been way higher.

I did a Facebook dive and he was sober for 4 or 5 years until recently as far as I can tell. Was even voted best chef in SWLA a few years ago

I just looked. Both the perv and the girl broke the first rule about where you can be, and not be.
There is never any reason, whatsoever, to go within 2 miles of an area that has houses in it that are worth less than $30k. This intersection has a couple of homes within 100 yds that disqualify it from being graced with my presence.

Most of the low bonds for violent offenders are in areas with left wing activist judges and DAs.
The areas with large bonds are NOT progressive areas. Simple as that.
