As a 40 year old man, Flacco has reached elite levels of oldness for a professional athlete

Super Bowl winner, Super Bowl MVP, a whole bunch of playoff wins. He's been playing at a high level for a long time, future Hall of Famer. Why wouldn't he be considered elite?

A rich man's Trent Dilfer.

Because hes never been elite....

He would have been in the elite conversation if he took better care of the football but always threw too many interceptions.

Being a Browns fan must be really hard

Is that relevant? He is the most experienced & gives them the best chance to win week 1.
They do play Bengals & Ravens to start the season. Maybe you see Shedeur or Gabriel in October.
ETA: honestly forgot they still have Kenny Pickett

Tell me about it ..When your boy Baker was here he was avg or below avg for most of the time.cocky little fricker who I saw at a restaurant at 11 am one time on a Saturday night before a game doinf shots all nights with couple of his buddies and what looked to be hookers of all nationalitities ...We ( The Browns ),always seem to be the place where these guys are still immature and learn themselves into being a pro , but at someplace else .we ll see how he does this yr .he is one of my FF quarterbacks so im pulling for him

Umm, no he's not. Not even close.

Joe Flacco is a younger Kerry Collins (who coincidentally lost to Dilfer in SB XXXV)

I overall like Joe Flacco. However, Lester Hayes still has yet to be voted into the Hall of Fame, so Flacco shouldn't even be allowed to sniff it for at least ten years after he retires.

A young NFL QB was partying on a Saturday night? That's crazy. He's still probably the best QB the Browns have had in 20 years and y'all swapped him for Watson in one of the worst moves in NFL history. Obviously I am pulling for him too and I am glad that he found a better spot in Tampa.
