My 2 cents...championship football teams have at their core a great offensive line

I believe all championship football teams have at their core a great offensive line with the center as it's backbone. Having said that, the center position is solid. We may not look dominating against Clemson but by the end of the season this will definitely be a dangerous team.
What say you?

I’d say “ by the end of the season” isn’t going to do us any good. However, our offense is so explosive that Sloan may be able to buy some time by using a diverse offense.

Clemson is a good team but a bit overrated. Our tigers are a bit underrated.
We are gonna surprise.

If we lose a few games before then, it won't mean a whole lot.

I think it's actually a great defensive line instead of offensive line

Our 2019 team had a solid dline, certainly not a great one. Great at the other two levels, though.

I’m not sure the 2019 O line as good as advertised.

The weren’t bad but Burrow and the skill position guys made them look better than they really were.

I’m thinking our top speed WRs will open up the run game. Safeties will have to respect that speed.

Had a great Oline last year.

Who knows what we will have in two weeks. I trust BK as much at Oline as any other group.

That's the hope Jimmy.

We better see DA 2025 Joe Sloan version of DA 2019 Joe Brady Offense where he has Nussmeier getting the ball out quickly to one of the WR's, RB's or TE's.

There's so many weapons to throw to and we'll see right away against Clemson what he's going to do. Yall better hope to God he doesn't come out against Clemson and try to "Establish the running Game" on the road with that Offensive Line! I'll go ballistic if they try to run it early on and get stuffed. Sling it and get a decent lead, then maybe try to run it a little! Use your weapons and score points. Throw it every down. Too many WR, RB and TE receiving options to not use them.

Don't know what BK/JS are gonna do. Kelly wont be able to bury his ego and let the OC run the Offense without interference like Orgeron was able to do with Brady/Ensminger because Sloan hasn't displayed, as of yet, that he's a Brady level play caller!

This is as much "Anticipation" as I've had with an opening LSU game in many years. I try not to get hyped up any longer, but this thing could go either way early on. (And I'm really not one of those that wants to see LSU lose another big opening game so the HC will go sit on the hot seat, but if it does happen, ALL BETS ARE OFF AND LET THE CHIPS FALL WHERE THEY MAY)

Every dominant team needs a great offensive line. Without it you don't have a run game or a pass game. One opens up the other. It's the main reason Alabama was so dominant. When you have all day to throw and you have giant holes, it simplifes everything

Just curious what makes you think they’re overrated? Have you seen them play THIS year yet?

of course. there are way more quality defensive lineman produced than offensive linemen. That's the difference maker if you get the great olinemen and/or get some really good guys that play well as a unit and get help from the rest of the offense.
