Does a Republican party that gave you Bill Cassidy have your best interests in mind?

Do voters have a role in that?

In whom the party props up -- like Cassidy? I'm not sure; but the party certainly controls who gets to "the party."

Not in Louisiana. Our shitty politicians work out shitty deals to crown someone ahead of time. It’s how we got stuck with Jeff, for example.

Bill Cassidy is a Democrat. Voters elected him. Voters were fooled. Hopefully enough have wised up to his lies.

Voters were given him as the Republican choice.

Why?

Cassidy has been a Democrat his whole life and openly supported the Democrat Party. He only changed party to run. LA voters fall for this trick ALL the time.

To be FAIR….(Letterkenny)

He got to the U.S. House as the runoff candidate against Democrat Don Cazayoux.

Then for the U.S. Senate, it was him or re-elect Mary Landrieu in the runoff, again.

No real strong GOP/conservative candidates threw their hats into the primary for either race. And for the Senate race, he was the one with money and business support to defeat Landrieu after her Obamacare vote. Remember, John Kennedy tried to take Landrieu down in 2008, but the typical pro-business folks lined up behind Landrieu.

Is there a party or system in the entire history of mankind that has not each given a bad apple or two.

Neither party gives a shite about about the working man/the middle class. They’ve told us that time after time. For example - Funneling trillions to other parts of the world for any number of dumbass endeavors including proxy wars while we have homeless/mentally ill populations growing in every corner of the US.

Bill Cassidy is somehow not the worst thing the GOP party of Louisiana has done. And he is a huge piece of shite.

There are only 2 senators in Louisiana, 100 in the country. It is important.

What purpose does the Republican party serve if not to prop up good candidates for such critical roles? Why do they ask me for money if not to assist in filling these seats? Why do they send me surveys asking me which national issues are important if they're not involved in putting good people in place? What do they do with my money?
