I thank God everyday for sending his son.

And I thank Jesus every day for not giving up on crazy and potentially evil me. Minus the Holy Spirit’s ‘counsel’ I’m done.

Antichrist is coming very soon... then shall the heavens open as a scroll.
Even so, Lord come.
Even so, Lord come.

I get on me knees and thank the lord for my family and we are all still under one roof and healthy. I have a lot to be thankful for that quite frankly I don’t deserve considering all my sinful behavior.

Rhetorical question :)

Lost my faith long ago and recently asked God to reveal himself to me, and boy did he. I don't deserve his love and blessings but am eternally grateful.

Mark 8:36
English Standard Version
36 For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?
This scripture resonates more with me now than it used to. The most important thing in life is to give God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit first place. Everything else will fall into place under this.

quote:
For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life. More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

After walking in the World doing things my way, there was no peace or understanding of life. Once I chose to put God in everything that I did, I found the true peace I was looking for. By the way,

We are so short sighted that we grab the gold that is in front of us today to throw away the true treasure of tomorrow.

Today's chapter in Albion's Seed on Puritans settling in America. The church services in the 1600s were held in unheated buildings. During winter it was brutally cold. The people attending sat there freezing listening to the sermon. The homes and barns were heated but not church. Why? Because the church was where everyone stored their gun powder.
