Why does the social media mob gravitate to Shedeur Sander so much over Cam Ward?

On paper, Shedeur Sanders represents everything the blue checkmarks hate: he came from a privileged upbringing, has a hall of fame pedigree, had the best coaching money can buy, had his daddy coaching him through college, was gifted one of the best playmakers in college football history, and he carries himself like he’s Baker Mayfield bringing 11-1 OU to the Rose Bowl and sniffing a natty after leading Colorado to a .500 record over two years.
Cam Ward came from a town of less than 4,000 in Middle of Nowhere, Texas, didn’t receive a single FBS offer, earned a spot on a Pac-12 punching bag and then to THE U where he earned the Manning Award, the Davey O’Brien Award, consensus All-American among other distinctions, all while staying humble.
Has the woke mob shifted? Celebrating those that come from privileged upbringings and have a leg up over others? I’m not saying Shedeur hasn’t worked hard to get to where he’s at, but I would think they would be celebrating the man that came from nothing and became the #1 overall draft pick. Any insight? This is not a knock on Shady Sanders who I think will have a LEGENDARY career, just an observation. Anyway, I’ll hang up and listen. TIA

Deion's teams have been very popular on social media. Deion himself is still a legendary figure. When he got to Colorado, most of the casual bandwagoners and celebritties begun watching and going to Colorado. They have their own popular behind the scenes YouTube channel

It’s media, it’s news, it’s filth and dirty. Anything about sanders gets attention. Most hate him because of his confidence and the media knows that. So any chance they get to make them mad media makes it happen.
