Im going to slightly push back on this.
As someone who works primarily with 18-24ish year olds in college, these videos are made because they get a massive amount of views. Yes we as a country are likely more dumb than anytime in recent history.
But from my anecdotal experience, these videos arent real life or at least not a good representation of it. Neither is social media or forumns like reddit. Even someone like this, which I think is the best poli board on the internet, is really only a good representative of people roughly age 30ish or early 30s-70.
The 16-early 20s cohort are far different than I have ever seen at any point in my life. They arent by and large stupid shite libtards. They know their future has been stolen from them, they largely know why, many are returning to christiany or are at least curious about it, and they have a thirst for knowledge knowing itll likely fall majorily on them to fix this.

Exactly this. Do you think it would make great content to air folks answering questions correctly? You can always find morons, and edit videos to make it seem like they’re an overwhelming majority. Then again, we did elect Trump for a second term, so maybe they’re on to something.
