We have 2 quality starting OT, a good OC but 2 OG are an issue. Start Curne at LG or RG.

I know Kelly wants to save Curne as the back-up LT in the event Tyree Adams gets gets hurt.

Put “The Animal Curne” at LG or RG.

LG might be preferable because he’ll be on the left side and can slide to LT if Tyree Adams gets hurt.

Putting up with this poor Guard play for this many months is bullshite.

You worked on this in all spring and summer and STILL have no answers at EITHER OG spot !

You’ve run out of time… game is in two (2) weeks !

Move Curne to LG or RG.

At least you would have eliminated 1 of the 2 weak spots.

Smarter than the coaches at LSU?

We have 4 guys competing for a spot at OG. I don’t think Curne is better than those 4 currently

Yeah I think Curne will be great in time but he can't hol dthe count in practice. He will cost us 40 yards on the road in his first game.

Echols is the hope at guard. We know (think we know) what we have in Chester and Mubenga. Echols played well in the bowl game and is very physical. He NEEDS to be the answer.

I’ve never read any report, much less multiple reports, that Curne has been playing either OG position in practice and jumping offsides like crazy.

All I’ve ever read is Curne is being played at LT.

OP and I are in the minority, but Curne would be my starting LG game one!

He’s the strongest, most athletic, and meanest of those competing for OG.

A couple of false starts during practice shouldn’t offset the fact that the LGs haven’t been able to create a push!

Let’s not wait for a couple of poor performances before inserting Curne into the line-up!

Thompson has been better as of late. Seems like the only spot that’s bad on the OL now is LG. I would simply start Echols there as he looked really good against Baylor last year.

Curne is definitely not starting week 1 on the road in a hostile environment!

Davis can be great but this is an onboarding season for him. Unfortunately will have a ton of pressure on him

Adams was a former top 200 recruit. The kid is the tools to be a damn good sec tackle saying average at best is kinda selling the kid short

Are you saying that all top 200 recruits are above average SEC players?
