re: We have 2 quality starting OT, a good OC but 2 OG are an issue. Start Curne at LG or RG.

hasn’t curne been working at guard?
This was called out in a practice report last week I think. But I believe it was partially because they had Chester playing with the 2s as the backup Center. I remember they also mentioned that in 1 v 1s that day, Curne was still working with DEs, so it may not mean much.

Read your post… that’s exactly what you stated.
I didn’t misquote you…
no reason to do that !

You did.
You literally wrote different words, weirdo.

First of all:
You did not do this last time. You said I said "THERE are all fine", which of course I did not say.
Second...what is the grammar issue with what I actually said? I'd love for you to be specific.
Third...there is a QUOTE feature on this board that should be readily apparent to anyone that has more than 10 posts. Look to your right when posting. Highlight what you want to quote. Hit quote.

Read the thread….
Curne has been working at LT.
Several posters would prefer he work at Guard.

Haven’t you read this thread ???
WTF are you babbling about? This is a quote, in this thread, from a now confirmed knucklehead:
quote:
Put “The Animal Curne” at LG or RG.
My response to that was that if Curne was better than what we had at guard they would not be “saving” him for backup tackle, which was another of your genius sentences.

If you open your horizons beyond this board, Curne was mentioned in at least one media practice report as having worked at Guard in practice one day last week. It was when Chester was practicing as the 2nd team Center, so it was likely him playing as a 3rd team Guard with the 2nd OL Unit. No one has mentioned him working there since in sessions open to the media, but it did happen.
What the media sees and what makes it into practice reports also needs to be considered. We do not know everything that goes on at practice right now because the media only see what the staff allows. Take that into consideration when you are throwing around your opinions as if they are certainties.
Again, if you are going to throw shite at anyone who disagrees with you, at least do some outside research. Like understanding that Bordelon started LSU’s last game at Guard. He may never play there again, but there is a legitimate reason he was mentioned as being a viable replacement.
If you want your opinion to be respected, make sure it’s informed.

What are YOU babbling about ??
This is ridiculous.
Curne is currently the back-up LT and some would like him to become a starter at one of the Guard positions; thinking he should be on the field as 1 of the 5 best linemen on the team.
That’s it !!

Oh yeah man, we’ve never had a thread that wasn’t accurate before
Posted on 8/15/25 at 11:10 am to misey94
So you are telling me he played 1 single day at Guard ??
One Single Day… That’s your point ??
Numero Uno….. “”1”.
Many on the board feel Curne is 1 of the 5 best OL on the team so they should find a starting spot for him……
Since the OL apparently can’t block anyone in the run game in practice.
Lack of a running game is posted day after day after day….
Again, I hope the guard play against Clemson is good but if it’s not… I’m curious to see how long they wait before substituting players and who are the replacement guard or guards.

And if it was true the coaches would do it.
That’s it!!

My point is that you seem to be oblivious to that fact and the fact that Bordelon started our last football game at Guard while trying (very poorly) to lecture people here.

How did the piecemeal OL for the Bowl Game that you and many others talked endless shite about before the game perform? That rotation included Echols and Bordelon, who I’m sure you include when talking about backups with little experience. They played much better than anyone expected. Mubenga took his lumps during the season, but was actually ok in that game, as well.
You continue to prove that you don’t know shite about anything related to OL.
He won’t respond to this & will just move to next thread about the offensive line spewing nonsense about Brad Davis & players.
