I have to go with Rickochet and Tiger Sports Bar. Good bathrooms, reasonable music volume, air conditioning is good and that’s a must. Kenny’s loses out because of the dark bathroom stall. Bayou Billiards also loses because it feels so dirty in there.

Clicks can suck an egg because they insist on opening the blinds and flooding the place with outside lights, be it sunlight or car lights. Idiots. Everything else is okay.

Worst is Trickshots. Ridiculous air conditioning setup and speaker placements, IMHO. Freezing cold with that retarded A/C setup blowing directly onto players. Amateur management approach with profanity-riddled signs throughout, too.

All my opinion.

Greenway Billiards is probably the shadiest one I've ever been in. It's closed now, but I always felt like someone was going to walk in and start shooting at any time.

Yeah, I remember that one. The old Rack is now Patti”s Place and has that vibe.

Tiger is just a little to small. If the only problem at Kenny's is the dark stall, thats not bad, service is usually good. I go to clicks sometimes bc of the players that are there are fun to shoot with, service is usually garbage, the ac doesnt work on one side of the bar, and i cant eat my hooters in peace anymore... Rickochet has good service, good ac, good music, and decent tables... trickshits isnt worth the drive.

patty''s has a pretty good tournament on monday nights if you like old school straight 8, the neighborhood is garbage

The worst tables I have seen in years the last time I went. Juvenile Hall has better tables than the yard of vines.

Ricochets in Prairieville was the nicest when I was still playing regularly.

bayou has the best players regularly, and do good maintenance on the tables... the rest of the bar is still covered in nicotine and the carpet has been there since the titanic set sail.

Stopped in there a few weeks ago expecting it to be a real dump. It ended up being far nicer than I thought it would be.

I haven’t played in forever and have only been to trickshots once but it seemed much better than you’re giving it credit for.

Trickshots has a 9ft which is nice to be able to play one pocket. Bayou Billiards used to be my go to spot but you’re right about the carpet.

Yeah, every time that door opened you better turn and look to see who’s coming in. Head on a swivel and all that.
The shooting, though, was at The Rack on Dallas Drive. I had just left there to go back to Greenway. About a half hour or so after I got back, some guys I had been with at The Rack came in and told me about the shooting. Some guy was sitting at the bar with his back to the door and someone(a jealous husband, I think) walked in, took a couple of steps to the bar and shot the guy in the back of the head. My buddies said people were diving under the tables and stampeding for the bathroom.

Got plenty of Greenway stories, too.

Londoner (Smiling Dog now) has some good tables. And it's quiet.

Green Rabbit by penthouse isn't bad.

There's this place off airline I can't remember the name of that is good

Tiger paw is nice and has good food
