Is Dewey Crowe possibly the dumbest character in television history?

I’m well into the 5th season of “Justified”, and having watched a lot of television in my life, I’d have to say ‘yes’. I don’t believe I’ve ever run across anyone dumber.

Walter White.
Could have taken care of his cancer, made a shitload of money, and provided a great life for his family by swallowing his pride and working at Gray Matter w/a cake job but instead he decided to be a POS meth dealer.

This is what is unique about Rocky.
Rocky is a dumbass. But he's the main character. You root for him. And it's not a comedy. This is unheard of. I don't know what other film has pulled this off successfully.

Book Robb was smarter than show Robb. Made no sense for Robb to bring his wife to that wedding.
I'd argue Ned was just more naive than dumb. His honor got in his way and I'm sure others in his situation would have done better but that just wasn't a role suited for him.
Joffrey was definitely dumber than both.
