Was listening to wild theories that Dead(Gay) Internet Theory has actually been a thing since 2016, and it occurred to me that while a post on Twitter will never be seen, one on TigerDroppings probably will be replied to.
How hasn’t this site been infested with 1000s of Bots? Is Chicken some sort of Anti-Al cheat code?

Forums seem to have better screening than Twitter. Or they don’t target them for some reason. Twitter is fricking full of them

There most definitely have been bots here and I'd assume there are some that are dormant right now. We noticed it a lot during election season.
The thing that's really unique about TD is that we mostly recognize each other as posters via name and posting style; we even have site unique lingo and phrases. Someone coming in with a wild take with like a single post or only a few is easily spotted as a bot (or alter) to most of us that are active on here.

Because TD isn't big enough to be targeted. And that's a good thing. Twitter is just absurd with the amount of bots

We may not have many Bots buit we've recently become infested with numerous Phaggs and Pedos from Reddit and Dem underground

It's harder to infiltrate sites that are more like communities. Most boards on here are pretty good about self regulating bots and alters.
Plus the admins here are good folk and work hard to keep it clean around here.

It's because you can make one bot and catch millions of people on twitter, or make a bunch of bots for random forums with a few dozen active members.
