ESPN's employees are all puppets that just regurgitate what they are told to say

I find that every single writer for ESPN has the exact same take. All saying "Arch is going to be 1st team All American. He is going to win a Heisman. He is going to set every record that has ever existed and do it in the 1st half of the season of his 1st year." They all have the exact same takes on NIL and Transfer Portal and are so supportive of it. "These players should all be millionaires." They are all brainwashed and complete puppets to Daddy ESPN.
They have 0 original thought, and you can tell they have to say what is Daddy ESPN approved in deathly fear that if they have a not ESPN approved take or comment, that they'll be fired. It happened to Sam Ponder. They're just horrible, horrible people. So they bite their teeth and lie to fit the narrative just because they don't want to lose cush $400k a year jobs where their description is talking. I wish I made $400k a year to talk. Sam Ponder's America's sweetheart. She probably pulled in viewers, super pretty, super nice, great presence. How could one fire Sam Ponder for making a perceived unethical remark? That's like cancelling Tebow.
To get quality, true knowledged college football takes, you have to go more regional, or my personal favorite XM Channel 84. Those guys do pretty well although you can tell some have been brainwashed. Chris Deoering, Danny Kannel or Dusty Dvoracheck, Hester, or Bobby Carpenter. These guys have great takes. I heard Dust Dvoracheck say "I think Texas fans are going to be seriously dissapointed. The media is making him out to be Joe Burrow next season, but that just isn't going to happen."

Yeah next you’re gonna tell me that Nixon was involved with Watergate too

Dvoracek and Doering are employed by ESPN, so I’m not quite sure what you’re on about.

Hard to believe the Oklahoma alum who’s still involved with the program would have such a take

Their takes I heard were not on an ESPN channel. It was XM Channel 84. What do they do with ESPN? I've never seen them calling in the booth.

His hatred for SEC is just jealousy, and his SEC takes are really bad. Like saying SEC is top heavy. Well, there are 6 other teams that aren't Bama that have won a Nati last 20 years in the SEC. Big 10 has 1 team outside Ohio State. ACC has 1 team outside Clemson. 6 is a lot more than 1.
I find anything non-SEC he talks about to be decent.

I think the guys on College Sports Nation generally do other things for ESPN, but I may be wrong. It was ESPNU for a while, I'm not sure if it's still owned by them. Kanell and Neuheisel are outliers if they still work for CBS. I like most of the guys on the channel, but Chris Childers is a massive dork.
Somewhat related to your post, I was going to start a thread on this -- Yahoo Sports keeps pumping out these pieces about whether Arch is going to come back next year. I mean WTF. Can we let him play a few games this year?

Kannel is one of the top provocateurs in college football. Another among a mountain of retarded takes by the OP

People still watch ESPN for the commentary?

Why are you even reading ESPN content?
ESPN has been a content quality black hole for 15+ years. They are strictly entertainment based now. They push content that will get hits on socials.
Stop giving them clicks

Like religious folk, news outlets and TD’s own Political Talk board?! Sorry, that was my first thought after reading your comment.

Actually......not to hijack this thread......it's come out that Nixon was framed by the FBI. Although there is nothing new to say he was not totally innocent. Woodward was a National intelligence agent & the others involved were FBI agents. Just saying.

In other words, views you don’t agree with = puppets regurgitating corp talking points but views you do agree with = quality knowledgeable
