Unfortunately it looks like I’ll be needing to go through the car buying process soon and was wondering what kind of rates y’all have been seeing.

I keep seeing lower rates advertised but have been through a few pre checks and the rates seem to all be high 6’s to low 7’s so far. My warranty is about to run out on my car and my wife doesn’t want to have her car outside of warranty. Plus I think she just wants a new car.

Why not make her buy it? Might help her decide to keep it longer this time.

Just had to go today unexpectedly. 5.49% for 60 from Honda with 800+ credit. Seems crazy but from what I checked they beat my credit union.

She pays the mortgage and all the bills for the house. I haven’t paid a mortgage or house bills in 14 years. I’ll gladly keep her in a car every 4 or 5 years

Man I’d love that but be happy with 5.5%.

You need to read up on community property regimes.

Be a man. Christ. You only need oil, brakes and tires to over 100k.

FFS, she's going to make you buy a car before dealers try to clear inventory at the end of December to avoid inventory taxes. You're going to let her.

No lie, if they were still making the Titan XD, I would likely go get one for the 0% they are offering.

This process may take a while. I’ve got a few SUV’s I’m looking at and driove the first one today but it was just ok.

Lol
I don't think I've driven a car in warranty in 10 years or more.

Performance SUV’s.

Looking to replace my 2021 X5M and I drove a 2026 X5 M60i and it was kind of a turd

I’m going to look at the following tomorrow but I’m open to suggestions:

2025 X5M Comp
2025 GLC AMG 63s
2025 Porsche Macan S
2025 SQ7

The 4 cylinder kinda kills me on the GLC but I love the look and it’s fast as shite just will miss the twin turbo V8 that I’ve had the last 6 or 7 years.
