Name a worse 2025 NFL QB Room than the Saints at the moment.

Make me feel better about this situation. Please.

I would argue the Colts and Browns might have it worse. Titans and Vikings don’t exactly have it any better than we do. McCarthy and Ward are both completely unknowns and this is obviously just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt but they didn’t exactly wow me in college.

Titans got the top qb in the draft by far. And Vikings were gonna start him over a guy that was in the MVP conversation.
So yea, i think both teams are a good bit ahead of us at the moment.

Bears- They spent pick 1 on Caleb Williams without even bringing Jayden in for an interview
Jags- Paying T Law 55 Mil a year and also wasted pick 1 on him in a draft with Ja'marr Chase and Sewell in it.
Colts- A Rich and D Jones
Browns- I actually like Shedeur as a prospect, but the way the Browns went about drafting him and Gabriel pretty much seals the fate of both of them
Probably some others, but off of the top of my head, I'd specifically hate to be a fan of any of those 4 teams

You can’t name a worse qb room. We don’t have a qb on the roster that’s won an nfl game. Almost zero starting experience. And if we’re being honest they were all relatively mediocre in college.

32/32 teams would take the Vikings or Titans situation over us including us
Flacco is at least a competent nfl qb at this point with SB winning pedigree. A locker room will listen to that, even if it’s just for a year.

As a fan of the saints and jags I feel infinitely better about Lawrence, his weapons, coach, and gm turning it around over what we currently have. It’s not even close.

There isn't but I truly believe that is by design. We are going to draft a QB every draft until we find an answer and where we picked in the 1st the value just wasn't there for a QB so you do the next best thing and find a blocker for him. If Shough busts at 40 oh well, we suck and pick top 5 next year with some solid choices to pick from.

Wouldn’t trade for either of them. Two of the biggest reach picks in recent history. But if I had to put money on who is better right now and has a better chance of winning in the nfl, I’m betting on Jones and Richardson. Both have won games and performed well at times.

I will say the question was solely about the QB room. I don't even love our QB room or team to be fair, but tried to look at the question from a different perspective (at least we haven't wasted an enormous draft asset on bad/mid QB's.
I agree the Jags have great weapons and a better short term view than the Saints. However, T Law peaked 6-7 years ago. Can he get a little better while slinging the ball to BTJ and Hunter? Probably. He's still massively overpaid and was a wasted draft asset IMHO.
I also am on record that Shough was a wasted pick by us as well. I get the flashes on film and his maturity, but the best he's been is an above average QB, in a bad conference, with a huge experience and age advantage. He's got almost zero chance to succeed at the NFL level. But, at least we haven't paid by any of our guys big money and we still have an opportunity to get a franchise guy in next year's draft.

This one I agree with only b/c I thought A Rich was a third round talent. I laughed my arse off when they took him that high.
But we went ahead and made the same exact mistake drafting Shough two rounds to early….

I like Flacco, but he is north of 40 and was not good last year when he played. But his is an experienced QB who can throw in a clean pocket.
Colts have two QBs who have proven to be bad. At least we have optimism that Shough or Rattler could be competent. Colts don’t even have that.

This. Hell I’d at least bet on being able to turn Richardson into a joker type player out of the backfield with his elite speed and size combo.
It’s pretty wild for an nfl franchise to go into a season where both guys being considered for the starting job to have 0 nfl wins between them. This is the epitome of rebuilding.

I would argue that the 1999 Saints would be worse (Billy Joe Tolliver (1–6) / Billy Joe Hobert (1–6) / Jake Delhomme (1–1)), but Jake made it slightly better. But just the Billy Joes would be very close.
