Maybe this will encourage NBC to get their shite together like CBS did.

Unfortunately our local event the Zurich didn’t participate as much in the ratings bonanza and lags many other events:

The final round of the 2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans, broadcast on CBS, drew 1.631 million viewers between 3 PM and 7:40 PM. The event was won by Andrew Novak and Ben Griffin.
This particular Zurich Classic broadcast had a relatively lower viewership compared to other PGA Tour events covered by CBS, such as the Players Championship and the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. For example, the final round of the Players Championship, also on CBS, drew 3.6 million viewers. The CJ Cup Byron Nelson, also on CBS, drew 2.918 million viewers. A report on GOLF.com notes that CBS and NBC averaged 3.1 million viewers on Sundays where both tours held events.
It's worth noting that the Zurich Classic is a unique team event, which may not draw the same level of viewership as individual stroke-play tournaments. However, the event still managed to attract a decent audience and was broadcast across 148 countries through local partners.

Oh good. The most insufferable poster on every board has decided to join the discussion.

I’m sure Zurich ratings had nothing to do with the CBS truck losing power and a rain delay in the final round.

Does anyone want to explain to that tard why comparing the Players Championship to the Zurich isn’t a bright idea?

I’d beat the shite out of Jim left and right but he’d say he got more likes on YouTube so he is the real winner

The average viewer number is a little skewed considering the masters pulled in almost 20 million viewers with people trying to catch Rory winning the career grand slam and the drama at the end.

But definitely positive numbers for the year. Good for them.

Despite all that weren't the Zurich's ratings pretty strong compared to past years?
