Morning everyone.
Just confirmed through the Oschner app that my GI specialist is not there anymore so I get to call Shreveport and rehash my whole situation yet again. LSU-S has the equipment to properly monitor my shriveled up dying pancreas which I am due for my annual MRI and annual endoscopy with needle biopsy plus I need a referral to the local Monroe GI Clinic so they can follow up my Barrett’s Esophagus so I don’t get throat cancer. (Locals don’t have the endoscope with needle since it’s a specialized piece of equipment )
I did finally get the referral to the hearing aid doctor. (My hearing aids quit working in March) and finally got an appointment for October! Mom has an old pair of hearing aids I have been able to use but they hurt my ear canals because she has screwy winding and narrow ear canals. Plus the rechargeable batteries only last about 3 hours between recharging and of course they are programmed for her hearing ranges, not mine.
Anyway, hope everyone is doing well and has a productive but quiet Monday. Pretty weather forecast for NELA barely expected to reach 90.
