The negative opinions on here were based on one posters experience with bebu and a mizuno rep. At least that’s what I recall of the story.
Personally - I don’t know anyone who has gone to Bebu and had a bad experience.

Went in February for irons, went recently for driver. He’s as good as you’re gonna get in this state imo. I love his studio as well. It’s like Disney land for equipment geeks.

Had a good fitting experience with him last year. Put me in some srixon zx4 irons and I freaking love them.
I’ll eventually go back to him when I’m ready for a new driver.

Went to him for a driver fitting years ago. He told me he wasn’t going to take my money . Told me to work on swing first. Legit dude

Have used him a couple times. Was ok the first time. Second experience was not good at all. Very questionable dealings. Would NEVER use again.

Did a driver fitting with him probably close to 10 years ago. If I was still in South La I would be using him again in a couple weeks when I get fitted for a new set of irons, but I don’t wanna drive that far.

Highly recommend, best in the area by far and given the barren nature of Louisiana golf am frankly surprised a fitter of his category exists in the NOLA region.

Best club fitter/builder in the area. Has a great studio and is a good dude. Used to work in a tour van, so you're getting a talented and informed guy. Also a really good guy and light years ahead of the Club Champion operation!

Just went to him yesterday.
Say anything about Buddha but he isn’t trying to sell you anything. I’ve been to him 3 times for various things and he’s talked me out of spending more money all 3 times.
I fully trust him because I know he isn’t just trying to make a buck on me. I’ve asked him to sell me stuff and he tells me no more often than not.

Have gone through Buddha for an iron set (Srixon and the best unplanned purchase ever) and a driver fitting.
He’s fairly low pressure on the sales front and is willing to lay out all the options for you.

Buddha is a solid dude and anyone that thinks otherwise is just wrong. Period. The man does the job he does because he is passionate about it. I’ve been to his studio many times both for golf and just to shoot the shite and I’ve never seen him stray from treating people with respect and I’ve never seen him put the hard sell on anyone.

He has fitted me several times over the years. Drivers, irons and wedges. He has always treated me right and gave me options to choose from. He never pushed me towards anything that didn't help improve my game.
I have several friends that have also gone to him. Same opinions as mine. In fact he has talked two of my friends out of new drivers because they would not get $500-600 dollars worth of improvements with new drivers.
I always recommend him highly when anyone askes.
