What things are you noticing in life that aren’t being discussed anywhere?

Things you have picked up on that no one is really talking about.
I can tell you that there are no prices on anything for sale in gas stations that I have visited with Indians working the registers.

Indians and middle easterners are used to a barter economy. Probably going to be the new norm in this country as we grow more third world by the day.

How tough the white collar job market is these days. It's only getting worse as more people get laid off and AI/offshoring replaces jobs.

How tired people seem to be.
Maybe it’s this state getting worse and people being exhausted, but I remember growing up we would be out and about at 7 AM on Saturday for breakfast, grocery shopping, or just to beat the heat in the summer and I’d see a good deal of other people. Not crazy packed, but people were out and about.
The other day I went for a long run at 6 AM, finished up close to 730 and there were so few cars it was crazy. I did see one guy passed out in front of a store, but it feels like people have lost their energy or something. It makes me sad.

How many people are addicted to Amazon. It’s insane how much we deliver to the same address every day. These aren’t people with online stores or anything like that. They are just addicted to the clicking and instant gratification.
Had a 80+year old lady upset because we didn’t deliver her Amazon package by 4pm. Newsflash! USPS only offers a 6pm guarantee for our Express Mail.
No guarantee times for Amazon that USPS delivers.

So many people are sick and they don’t know it. It used to bum me out bigly, but they won’t listen and tell you you’re wrong so I just don’t give a shite anymore. frick em, they can go through their entire (shortened) life feeling like arse

There is a convenience store on Acadian that has Smoothie franchise sign and a Steak sandwich franchise sign on the building since opening years ago. They’ve never had either. It’s now just basically a liquor store. Gas prices are usually the highest in town. Indian ownership. Parking lot and landscaping trash.

There are a ton of online financial influencers and all they talk about is how to sell things
But no one talks about how to provide and actual product or service to sell in the first place
