Good boots suggestions

I got a pair of Justin boots last winter as a gift from my parents, and they have rubber soles and look and feel like work boots. I want something that looks more classic and has a more traditional design. I don't work outside a lot, and if I do I'm not going to be wearing boots. Just need something to go with khaki pants or some jeans when need be. Anyone have some suggestions for boots, preferably under $500?

I've always worn Dan Post. I know a few people with Tecovas and they all like them.

My daily boot has being red wing slip ons for a tremendously long time.
Each pair lasts multiple years.
I have rubber soles on mine though. Leather bottoms are garbage for daily wear and moving around.

I have heard about Tecovas and they look and seem pretty nice, some of my friends have them. Do they hold up well if I was outside for extended amounts of time? I was concerned with durability if I were to go tailgating or something alone those lines as Tecova reviews online have them marketed more of a classy pair of boots compared to something rugged

I've been wearing Twisted X slip ons for years and love them.

JK Boots.
Ignore every post that suggests boots made in a foreign country such as Mexico or some Asian country. Your feet deserve better.

I like Ariat boots. They work great for me. They somehow manage to fit my worn out feet.

Twisted X are my work boots but they have a rubber sole.
My husbands tecovas have held up pretty well. Took a bit to break in but the harder they’re worn, the more comfortable they get.

Tecovas.
They're as comfortable as my Lucchese boots.

Tecovas was my answer until they became almost as expensive as lucchese, might as well just get the real deal now

Your church jeans of nah?
Also, how fat are you? If obese, make sure you get square toe to really accentuate your triple chin
