Someone end this losing streak. Grew up in the 80's watching the Cubs on WGN. Ryne Sandberg gone at 65 years young.

WGN introduced me to him. Pretty sure it was a scammer but about 6 months ago I commented on an MLB HOF Facebook page and an account for him messaged me and after about an hour of chatting back and forth tried to get me to buy memorabilia from his alleged foundation. Probably a scam, or I told one of my first sports heroes to F off.

Growing up, I always thought Mark Grace was the star of that team. Probably because of baseball cards.

Spent many a summer day in the late 80's through the late 90's watching the Cubbies on WGN (and the Braves at night on TBS). Ryne Sandberg, Andre Dawson, Mark Grace, Shawn Dunston, and Jerome Walton with Harry Caray announcing....great times.

This was the 3rd that I was fearing last week. Two weekends ago we started to see a dark line of clouds forming. He would sign anything you'd send him but people were starting to get them back RTS. Then all of the Ryno jerseys being worn by Cubs alumni at Wrigley.

3 years back i had a co worker whose wife grew up thinking the ryno was her uncle. Turns out he was actually her dad
