Yesterday, the grocery store had two split turkey halves for $1.69 a pound. Cheapest thing in the store. This morning, I fired up the offset and smoked them. We had a little Thanksgiving in July with smoked turkey, stove top dressing, Mac & cheese, corn, slaw and rolls. Fed my bartender. :)

That looks amazing! Never seen split turkey at HEB.

We had some leftover rotel to use up so braised some thighs in it. Shredded it and made some Mexican rice. Will serve in bowls with fresh jalapeño and guacamole/lime salsa from Jerdez jar.

I do deep dish / pan once each year. It's not my thing, but wife just got back from Arizona and was craving it. We went with Millys Pizza In The Pan.

Just for pre-ordering. No idea when their dining room is going to open up, but sounds like they're just adjusting to the new space and oven. Robert is a great dude. Happy to support his business.
