As a golfer, would you rather 4 straight birdies, or eagle-par-eagle-par?

Yes, I know they are both -4.

The question is more about a stretch of consistency versus highs and lows.

no good golfer would consider an eagle par eagle par stretch to have any lows in it

eagle par eagle par is more rare

if one of the eagles was a hole out on a par 4 and not just a routine par 5 eagle then it would definitely be the choice

As a mediocre golfer, I would prefer that nobody pinch me and wake me from either of these wet dreams.

Either one really but to my feeble mind the 4 birdies “feels” more consistent so I would probably rather that. Tortoise vs hare kind of thing.

Depends. Is Jessica Alba in the cart wearing lingerie or a bikini? Details matter.

I have one eagle this year so give me two more.

There are no routine par 5 eagles in my golf game.

I’m jealous.

I’d be happy with either option, but it also depends on whether we’re playing skins, eagle holes would have a better chance of winning some

I wouldn't complain about either.

I did make 3 straight birdies in my last round over the weekend. Was disappointed not to make it 4 in a row.

4 birdies, no question. I’m always happier about a birdie run.

4 birdies not even close really. Best string was 1st 3 holes. Still shot like 78.

However I have had back to back Eagles on par 4s. From 170 and 40yds..

At beautiful Isles de Pines

Yeah that's an easy choice for me too. Give me that shite back to back to back to back. Never had 4 in a row. Or three.

Pretty good player, but almost certain I’ve never had two eagles in a round. I have done four-straight birdies a couple of times and it was awesome fun but give me two eagles, please.

Gimme 4 straight birdies. Eagle-par-eagle feels lucky. 4 straight birdies makes me feel like a pro.

Went par, eagle, double at men's league last night. Holed out from 60 yards on a short par 4, that felt good.

I'll take eagles all day.

My thought exactly. Give me the illusion I've figured it out
