Yeah, the talking heads are sleeping on us and underestimating us this year. I think it will work out very nicely to our advantage.

Didn’t BK say judge him on year 3? BK is out of his weight class, this is just a waiting game at this point. Overall, the fanbase will lose all confidence after this year.

You can’t judge a man by what he says or does. You judge a man based on his performance.

Beat Clemson on the road and then watch out….

That’s a dumb arse philosophy.
Judging a football coach based on commentary, actions, and performance is completely within the guise of a sports fan.
His commentary before a season is terrible and no one holds him accountable. His behavior on the sideline is shameful at times, players do not respond well. His seasonal record at LSU is average or slightly above average.

Saying you can’t judge a man by what he does is incredibly stupid. That is all.

LSU's current odds to win the 2025-26 College Football National Championship are +1800, according to AL.com, which places them outside the top contenders. Other sources have them at +2000. This suggests that while they are a team to watch, they are not among the favorites to win it all.
Key factors for LSU:
A strong performance from quarterback Garrett Nussmeier, and breakout seasons from key players like Trey'Dez Green are crucial for LSU's success.
Reasons for optimism
Talented Roster: LSU boasts a talented roster and is considered a national championship contender by some analysts.
Quarterback: Garrett Nussmeier returns as starting quarterback after a 4,000+ yard season.
Transfer Portal: LSU had the top-ranked transfer portal class, addressing key needs like wide receiver and defensive line.
Continuity: There's continuity in key positions, with Nussmeier returning alongside the same offensive and defensive coordinators.
Offensive Line: The offensive line is considered one of the best in the country.
Potential concerns
Difficult Schedule: LSU faces a tough schedule, including a difficult week one matchup against Clemson and challenging SEC road games.
Defensive Line Depth: While strengthened by transfers, replacing three 2024 NFL draft picks on the interior defensive line remains a concern.
Offensive Line: Despite the overall strength, the offensive line has to replace four starters, including a projected first-round NFL Draft pick.
Season Openers: LSU has a history of losing season openers under Brian Kelly, going 0-3.

Didn’t BK say judge him on year 3? <-- CBK said it sure. The fact You believed anyone could resurrect LSU into an SEC juggernaut in that time frame starting with 30+ players on scolly is moronic. You may be gullible!
BK is out of his weight class, this is just a waiting game at this point. <-- Again you are believing anyone could resurrect an entire team with transfers from bush league teams and actually consistently compete against true SEC rosters.
Overall, the fanbase will lose all confidence after this year.
CBK began his tenure at LSU with a few faithful players, less than half of an entire team. CBK brought some players in on offense & salvaged a recruiting class year 1. Between then & now CBK has put together "on paper" what begins to look like an LSU roster. Unproven sure but LSU/CBK has several pieces in place & a punchers chance in any game.
It's the freaking offseason, put you're P&G glasses on.

Replacing 4/5 starters on the OL and breaking them in on the road against Clemson who has 2 DL players projected to go top 10 overall is not a great feeling. Nuss isn't exactly Burrow when it comes to responding to pressure either

Fine with me. Neither was the 2019 team.

if the Tigahs are able to win, the press will diminish the outcome as 'Clemson'
was not quite on their game.
similar to after the season ended in 2019 how Texas was not highly ranked.

I always tell my buddies this. The offseason is the only time when you can rationalize that all players will be better and everything will BR great. As soon as the season starts you’ll see holes in your team but right now, all is perfect.
