Kind of a two part question.
1) Is it common to spit in the urinal after you finish pissing?
This one I feel like has been discussed on the OT but lacking a definitive answer,
2) Why aren't urinals more of an option in home bathrooms?

Because public bathrooms are meant to handle a volume of customers quickly and urinals are quicker and take up less space.
I'm not sure about the volume of pissing going on at your house. Is it a lot?

I spit in the urinal before I piss. However, those who spit gum/zyns in the urinal on top of the cake, are horrible people.

Why have two things where one is only useable 50% of the time (urinal) when you can have one that serves both functions (toilet)?

Well, I wouldn't mind a urinal but realistically you would need a toilet also because shite and all. Plus I think convincing Mrs. Snipe that a urinal was the way to go would be a bridge too far.

That's kind of a personal hygiene thing. I'm certain the kind of people who piss on the floor around a urinal are the kind of people who piss on the floor around their toilet. You can fix stupid.

A friend of mine has one in his game room. And by game room I mean separate room with a bar, pool table, couches and big screen.
The toilet is down stairs, but he has a urinal and sink in a small bathroom attached to the game room.
It's legit for a few guys watching a football game.
