I feel your pain and I'm sorry. Many times we do things we have to do for the sake of the loved one. It's never easy

It’s tough man. I’ve lost many close loved ones. But there’s something about it when you have to be the one to make the decision to end the life of a family member that happens to be a pet. I’ve never felt more awful in my life than the day I put my dog down.

Sorry for your loss, baw.

Best way to get over a cat is to buy a puppy. Cats are unfriendly, unpredictable and weird.

Really, dude? A pet is a pet and you're pooping on someone that just lost a beloved pet.

I'm not a cat person, but losing a pet can be brutal. Sorry for your loss.

They are weird, for sure, but some are just as friendly & loveable as dogs. I have one thats by my side at all times. I let him outside to kill critters whenever I leave & he's there waiting on me when I get home. Best $20 I ever spent.

I'm sorry about your kitty.
My neice had a kitty named Leo. He was a sweet kitty and had mittens for paws. He had a kidney burst.

She cried for days about it and she's normally not an emotional person.

Same here. I’ve had a 3 cats over 30 years (I had 2 for awhile.). My cat loves me and only me. He follows me around everywhere when I’m home. My girlfriend just moved in and he’s been very slow to accept her but after 4 months, we’re making progress (cats terms, of course). She says he waits for my by the door or in my office pretty much every minute I’m gone.

I’m gonna miss that little mutt cat when the time comes. I should have quite a few more years though.

Not long ago had to put my best friend of 16 years down due to stroke. Knew it was best for him but still hurts like hell. So sorry for your loss. Sure they felt the love you had for them and were blessed in that aspect.,

Some cats are like that just as some dogs are vicious and kill children.

Sorry to hear of this news. I think it is tougher when it is unexpected.

I had to put down our 21 year cat in the last year. She literally went to sleep in my arms at the vets office. It was sad, no doubt, but she had a hell of a run and was a wonderful pet. While tough, it’s a different thing from the standpoint of emotional preparation when you see it coming as compared to something unexpected.
