This should clear any remaining obstacles to Cam Ward being the day one starter (assuming it was still in question). It’s probably best that this happened before training camp so that Ward can get all of the first team reps.

Hard to believe he’s started 21 games in the NFL… will he ever start again?

Probably there are a lot of terrible back ups that get starts due to injury. Will anyone sign him to be their starter again ? God no

This sucks when you consider we will go a whole season without any new lowlight content from him.

Titans QB Will Levis will be undergoing season-ending surgery on the right shoulder injury he sustained early last year before further aggravating it later in the season.
He's Michael Thomas-ing the Titans. At least he's not expected to play an important role in the offense this season.

Brandon Allen will show Ward how it’s done.

funny thing is, do you think he makes that announcement today if the Titans didn't take Cam Ward #1?

This is in a way reminds me of Carr's bizarre saga with the Saints.

Carr wanted out of New Orleans before he "discovered" his shoulder injury. Not saying he was faking but it's just convenient for both sides that things worked out the way they did.

But to your point, absolutely right.

what ever happened to do everything you can do to get back and stop a rookie from taking your job?
