has had a string immoral men. I’m just glad we avoided the Harris dumpster fire. Trump 2.0 has done more in six months than most of these losers in 4 years.

I am not going to fault him for that. We were fighting a full on Cold War and all he had was the past to go by. After WWII we brought in a lot of the brightest minds from all over the world. When Clinton sold us out to China we started losing skilled labor and jobs.

Again, Reagan trusted the system (Dems & Republicans alike) too much. He either did not know or wildly miscalculated the intensity on which members of Congress wanted to flood the country with illegals.
Was he too focused on taking down Soviet Russia? Starting to feel the effects of dementia? Who the hell knows. But he clearly took some very bad advice to heart

Problem is he had Mr. Skull and Bones in the room for everything.

We had a border problem and he negotiated with demorats amnesty for a wall and tighter border security. Demorats renigged on the latter after getting amnesty. They never funded it.
Reagan said at the end of his term it was the worst mistake he made.
Moral of the story: never trust a demorat. Never. Not in the 1980s, and it’s not even close in 2025.

Carter is one of the worst presidents in American history, but it’s nuts how Iran-Contra gets memory holed.
