New tires on the truck - want good looking mud tires but need good road tires…

I’m currently an F150 4x4 baw and love a bulky mud tire look but I don’t need a mud tire.
I have BF Goodrich KM3 (mud). 45,000 miles on them and they are about done.
They look great but I drive 30,000 miles a year, so I really need to pick a tire that’s a bit better on the road. Trying to convince myself to look at the KO2 (all terrain) for better road conditions.
Has anyone found a good looking bulky tire that’s actually pretty good on the road? Or should I just forget about mud tires and focus on all terrain?

Pick any of the nitto/toyo RT type tires and you should be good to go.

I do like the look of the Toyo open country RT. I would assume that would be the smarter choice for me than the MT?

Get Michelin LTX MS2 and enjoy. Great in rain. Quiet on Hwy. Seen the 10ply HD versions last damn near 70K miles

Take a look at the RT-Pro. I think it’s a little more aggressive with more space between the lugs than the RT. It’s their newest one of the more aggressive all-terrain.
I’ve ran a shite load of tires on 6 4x4’s over the last 25 years and once I went with the RT/Trail grapplers I’m never going back to a mud tire. It’s the perfect blend between an All Terrain and mud tire.

I put Kenda Klevers 33x12.5r20 on my truck 3 years ago. Absolutely love them.
Buddy owns a tire shop and recommended them. Have several other friends running them no issues. I like them more than the Nittos I have ran.

I’ve had several sets of the Toyo Open Country Rt on my 17 f250. I went with Nitto Ridge Grappler on my last set to try something different. So far they are wearing even and ride quiet. You can’t go wrong with either.

I have nitto ridge grapplers and love them. Very aggressive look, good traction in mud, damn near silent on the interstate. This is a Chevy vs ford argument between the popular brands but I don’t plan on fixing it if it isn’t broke.

Cooper Rugged Trek. Great hybrid mud/AT. I’ve gotten very good life out of them and the pricing is good. Not as heavy as some of the other brands which helps gas mileage also.

I have these on Mrs. Potch’s 4 Runner. Pretty quite and the have good traction in the mud!

My neighbor has over 50k on a set of Firestone Destination MT2’s and that’s on a heavy 2500 power wagon. Should be able to get 65k on a half ton?

Look at the HD Terrain from BF Goodrich. I know someone using these and they really like them. Good off road tracking and very smooth and quiet on the highway

Currently sitting at the shop getting some cooper discoverer ST Maxx put on. I’ve had a few sets of ridge grapplers and honestly don’t know if I’m going back to them. They don’t clear mud well at all and they’re awful in the rain. If I don’t like these coopers then I’ll go back to trail grapplers for my next set.

Went from Ridge to Recon.. Recon are louder and don't do near as well in the mud.

Ive run the endurance brands but I gotta tell you, I’ve had great luck with the Faulken Rubitrek….. it may be the best A/T tire I’ve had for noise and grip on wet pavement. Performs well in mid also.
