Random ramblings.. a life lesson

We are on vacation with the family. Having a nice enough time. 2 SILs that we haven’t really gotten along with in the past have been seemingly coming around the last year or so.

Today while at a typical touristy kid activity, the kids were playing in a playhouse deal and one of the SILs kids bring her a bag of cash with a name on it. I’m half way paying attention but not really. Anyways the 2 SILs are sitting together at a picnic table. They share some words and then they split the cash up and dump the bag. A few minutes later I’m walking to check on my kids in a different area. I hear a dad holding a little girl giving the worker his phone number in case they find something. I put 2 and 2 together and figure out that the SILs were probably splitting up this little girls lost cash that their kid found. I know I should have said something and I have felt guilty about it all day and am completely ashamed of myself and the SILs actions and will honestly never look at them the same way again. It takes a special person to do something like that.

Life lesson - a seemingly small act when you think no one is looking can have a life long effect. Always try to do the right thing.

Drunk ramblings… Also if your child happens to be the one who lost the money I will Zelle you double whatever was in that bag if you can tell me where it was and what kind of bag it was in. Maybe that will at least clear my concise some.
