Nino's has quietly become the best restaurant in town

Service, Food, & Atmosphere are all very well curated and excellent standing on their own...the combination of each together works very well.
If you haven't been since the new team took over, run don't walk to Bluebonnet.
Haven't had a meal in town lately that could touch what they are doing over there.
Need to get back to Maison Lacour for a side by side, but way that Nino's is doing things is "unfussy" and special. Check it out.

We've been once since the ownership change and it was excellent.

I went Tuesday and it was phenomenal. The Beef Cheek app and the Ribeye Cap special were really good. Had a very nice, cute, server.
It was touch and go there for a bit, but they are back.

I need to go give them a second chance. I keep seeing rave reviews for it but took the family last month and was very underwhelmed for what we paid.
Steak bruschetta special (soggy bread & cold)
Beet & goat cheese salad
Pork chop (room temp & very underseasoned)
Fish special
Spaghetti
Panna cotta
Berry crisp

Their restaurant week menu is going to get some good press. The arancini and fish dish were out of sight.

I love Nino's but the last two times we've been the service has been terrible. It will not keep up from going because we love the food, but the service has been disappointing.

Always been incredible

Ninos has always been great. I do agree with the comments about service, though. The servers were a bit unprofessional the last time I went.

We went 2 weeks ago and it was a good experience. Our waiter brought the wrong bottle of wine to the table but comped it...osso bucco was great.
What is the history of this place? Even the waitstaff sounded unsure. Our waitress told us its been around for 20 years, the bartender over heard and said they've been there since the 70s

I don’t know the full history, but I do know they used to do a multi course lunch for $12 that was so fire. I miss it.

Just booked a reservation here for Saturday. Open the F&D board and here’s this thread. I’m excited to try it. One of BR’s best options prior to ownership change. There was some not so flattering thread here soon after the change. Glad to here they have straightened things out.

The last time I was there, we’re finished eating and waiting for our ticket, ready to go. The waiter engaged in a 20 minute conversation with an older gentleman on the table against the wall. He was servicing only our table and that one. I know you have to be nice and cordial with each table but that was a bit much. Btw, the cookies are always warm and good.

Went last week and it was excellent, ML & Nino’s are our go to restaurant’s in BR for celebrating. We did Cocha last month because we couldn’t get a reservation to ML and it was really good as well.

We had a fantastic experience recently at La Contea. The food and service were great, and they had a singer singer during their dinner service.
I was really surprised at how good this place is.

It’s been an Italian restaurant for at least 25 years. Possibly a different name at one time, but always solid Italian food.

Checked out the pics on Yelp.
Would proudly be the 118th best Italian restaurant in Boston.
Too 400s maybe in NYC.
Condolences

I'm... surprised you consider this a positive.
Unless they've changed singers or something.

I like La Contea but the singer is hilariously terrible

Who knew Paul Allen had an alter?
