Marshall Louque is going to LSUE to rehab from Tommy John surgery. He will be batting and, when able, playing a position. I don’t think the plan is for him to pitch in college. His LSU opportunity is not over, just delayed.

He projects as a middle reliever right now at the big leagues. Yes, he can throw 100+, but that doesn't matter much if you only really have 2 pitches and spotty command. If he can learn to land a 3rd or 4th pitch with command and movement he is a starter or a slam the door closer.

Thanks, I didn’t see him on another list and couldn’t verify, I’ll remove him for now.

Rumors swirling that HS SS Eli Willits (son of Reggie and brother of Jaxon), may go #1 to the Nats now.

Per ESPN's Keith Law, Willits is considered to be "much more in the mix" for the Nationals with the top pick than originally believed.

for the sake of my Kade Anderson #1 overall shares, hopefully just a smoke screen from the Nat's front office.

Josh Hader throws a hard Sinker and a Slider 95% of the time.

the way chase was pitching at the end plays as a high leverage pen guy

Would love if we can get 6-8 of the ranked incoming freshmen, and ideally at least 1 of the top 70 ranked ones.

From what I have read and heard. It sounds like the top four are going to sign. But the rest are 50/50 or better to make it to campus.

But we never really know

Have to have a few of these guys fall and then decide to come back or come in to LSU

I bet Kade goes 3rd to the Mariners

ETA: Boom!

It would certainly be a choice for the new interim GM of the nationals to tie his future to a high school shortstop by saying no to two nearly-big-league-ready lefties

I dont see any way we get any of our top guys back. they're all in that category of losing leverage if they return

Will be very interesting to see what Frey, Cowan, and Noot decide to do. Those are likely the biggest question marks. Would be huge if even just two of those three stayed to play another year at LSU. Fingers crossed.

frey is gone . Cowan or noot would be big to get back,im guessing noot is gone though. he was pretty good at the end of the year and scouts have already been keeping an eye on him since high school. Cowan coming back would be great ,he could pretty much feel in at any type of roll we asked him to take on he can start or come out of the pen. he will be more ready for those big stage moments after this year

Except for Frey. I think he is draft eligible sophomore.

Frey is a junior and loses all leverage if he comes back.
