An Ascension Parish man whose construction company is contracted with parish governments was recently arrested in connection with an alleged criminal conspiracy to commit forgery, court records show.
Michael Delatte, 52, was arrested July 1 on counts of criminal conspiracy and forgery by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, according to its inmate database. His wife, Alison Delatte, 51, was also booked on the same counts.
Michael Delatte is the founder and owner of Del-Con LLC, a construction service provider that has contracts with the Ascension Parish government.
According to the company’s website, Michael Delatte founded the business in 2016, and it maintains offices in Morgan City, Gonzales and Daphne, Alabama.
According to the Port of Morgan City website, Alison Delatte is the company’s office manager there.

"Can you spruce up our Homeland Security warehouse?"
"Yep, that'll be $224,000."

The OT is legit scary in how quickly you located and posted a photo of these folks.
It is not hard with social media now a days.
People post too much of their every life there that it is scary what people can dig up.

I believe he’s originally from Pierre Part.

Most of the Delattes are trash. Not surprising this is the guys name.

Both are. I've known Mike and Allison to be good people, and will wait to see how this unfolds.
AP is full of old money names throughout government and private sector. I wouldn't be surprised if this was a complaint by someone's podnah that didn't get a job and his inside guy found some bullshite technicality to bring up charges.
Remember, years ago we had the parish president on record offering a bribe for someone not to run for office and the evidence got thrown out of court. So nothing is beyond possible.

Michael Delatte, 52, was arrested July 1 on counts of criminal conspiracy and forgery by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, according to its inmate database. His wife, Alison Delatte, 51, was also booked on the same counts. Both posted bonds of $30,000 that evening, the database shows. Offender bond fact sheets filed in the 23rd Judicial District Court in Ascension Parish said both allegedly committed criminal conspiracy to commit forgery between Nov. 1, 2024, and March 6.

You want the "lowdown" I can now give it to you.
Now that the 100% percent truth has surfaced and I'm allowed to speak on this, now my turn to have a little fun...........
First and foremost, the truth is that the "alleged" victim lied to the detective. He is not owed one single penny. FYI all a detective needs to make a arrest is "probable cause". Mike's alleged crime was dropped by the DA within days of reviewing the file and Alison was dismissed by a judge within 10 min of hearing the case. Also I loved how the FAKE NEWS put a spin on this as the case had ZERO to do with anything in Louisiana. This was a single incident in Alabama dealing with a con-artist that was looking to try and extort my company out of money............not that I needed to give anyone an update, however seems a few inquiring minds wanted to know.
Now on to my next point. I cannot believe that grown people come on a sport site to intrude in peoples personal lives. You people have nothing better to do with your life? You really that low in your own life that you get entertainment out of protruding into others lives...........
I have so much more to say but I'll end with this as my time is so much more valuable to my family and my buisness.
1. You need to learn "Innocent until proven guilty"
2. Fake news is a real thing
3. He who cast the first stone...........
Next time you want to know something maybe you should just go to the source instead of hiding behind some screen name. I have email, phone numbers, Facebook messenger. Be a man and just go to the source!
Hope this help clear your curisoity about me and my family!

If you ever want to see this job I'll be happy to show it to you. You should stick to commenting on something you actually know something about. I'm impressed by how much fake news sparks your interest. 100% innocent and this story didn't involve one thing in Louisiana. However, if you ever need a great contractor with an amazing reputation please look me up personally.............Seems you guys know how to dig up any junk to spark your ego!

Agree...........crazy how much time people spend worrying about the lives of other rather than worrying about what takes place in their own lives..........can you imagine spending time commenting on this rather than doing something productive with their lives...............sad world we live in where fake news keeps the common interest...........
